The London Eye is quite a famous site in London but is it really that good? So let's dive into this huge Ferris Wheel sitting on the side of the Thames River.
First, you have to wait in line, and you might be thinking why should I talk about waiting? Well, it’s actually not too bad. Every few feet on the floor of the line are these little bubbles with facts about the eye. It was quite an interesting experience; my mom took photos of them all.
The workers there are very friendly and it’s a very easy system making it not too much hassle to do. The eye rises very slowly giving you plenty of time to look around. You can see Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the Thames River. The bridges on the river are beautiful and the view of the clouds is very cool. When you reach the very top you have the best view so far.
I think that younger kids might find it a little boring, but it’s a beautiful view for slightly older children. For the younger kids maybe bring coloring books and be sure to get seats because it isn’t that short. I had a pretty good time there and overall I think the London Eye is worth visiting but it’s up to you. I’ve given you the facts: you make the decision.
If you go: I hope you have fun.
